Return and Exchange Policies

PlayfulThreads.com offers you the lowest prices on the hottest styles available. We strive to give you 100% customer satisfaction. Our philosophy is to provide the best products at the lowest prices with the easiest shopping experience for our customers. Consequently, it is important to us to offer our customers a fair and diligent return/exchange policy.

All orders are shipped to the shipping address provided by the customer. Customers are responsible for completing correct address information including building numbers, apartment numbers, dorm numbers, dorm/university names, company names and/or any other necessary shipping information required to deliver your package. If you are shipping your order to a person other than a listed resident of the shipping address, please includes a residents name plus “In Care Of” the recipient’s name. PlayfulThreads.com is not responsible for any additional charges needed to reship or retrieve a package because necessary shipping information is left off the order during the checkout process. If at this time a customer no longer wants to receive the package after submitting incorrect address information, PlayfulThreads.com will only refund the order amount minus any and all shipping charges incurred by PlayfulThreads.com.

All orders are processed the same day as long as they are received by 3pm EST / 12pm PST. PlayfulThreads.com strives to be the fastest shipper in the industry, please check your order carefully before submitting. If a mistake was made on your processed order, please email help@playfulthreads.com immediately. We will give our best efforts to located your package in our warehouse and make any necessary changes. If your order has already shipped, or we cannot locate it in our warehouse PlayfulThreads.com will not be responsible for any additional costs added to correct your order.

Return Policy:

Most of the products purchased from PlayfulThreads.com may be returned within 14 days from the date the order was placed online as long as a Return Authorization Number has been issued. This means that the package must be postmarked within 14 days, not actually received within 14 days. To obtain a Return Authorization Number please email our customer service care team at help@playfulthreads.com with the following information: your name, address, order number, reason for return/exchange. Please also indicate if you want store credit, a refund or if you would like to exchange items. In order for you to obtain a return authorization number your merchandise must meet the following criteria. All returnable merchandise must be in new re-sellable condition, free of stains, free of unnatural smells and in its original packaging with all tags attached. A full refund will be given, excluding any shipping charges that were issued to your credit card for the purchase only.

Once you have received a Return Authorization Number, please write this number on the outside of the package in large print so it is clearly visible to our receiving department. If our receiving department cannot clearly see your Return Authorization Number, then PlayfulThreads.com will not accept the package and it will be returned to the customer at the customers’ expense. Please include a copy of your invoice with your Return Authorization Number written on it inside your package.

The following is a list of products that are not eligible for returns and will be returned back to the customer at the customers’ expense.

Items Excluded From Returning or Exchanging:

- Panties (Due to Federal Laws and for the health of our customers and staff, we are unable to issue refunds on panties or items that cover the crotch.)
- Items that have been worn
- Items that smell of cigarette smoke or perfume
- Items with stains

Exchange Policy:

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs incurred when returning/exchanging any products. PlayfulThreads.com is not responsible for any packages lost in the mail, therefore we strongly suggest adding a delivery confirmation and/or signature confirmation to all returned packages. It is the customer’s responsibility to research any lost packages shipped back to PlayfulThreads.com.

All exchanges are required to be postmarked back to PlayfulThreads.com within 14 days from the date the order was placed online as long as a Return Authorization Number has been issued. All exchange packages sent back to PlayfulThreads.com must have a Return Authorization Number clearly written on the outside of the package. PlayfulThreads.com has the right to refused any package that does not have a Return Authorization Number included.

All products being sent back for exchange must be unworn and in their original packaging with the tag attached. Any products sent back that cannot be resold will not be issued a credit/refund.

Halloween Return/Exchange Policy:

PlayfulThreads.com requires all of your Halloween Return/Exchanges to have a Return Authorization Number to be accepted by our receiving department. All of our normal Return/Exchange policies written above apply to Halloween purchases with the addition of the following date restrictions:

- All orders placed before September 15th follow our normal return/exchange policy.

- Orders that are placed after September 15th and through September 30th – PlayfulThreads.com only allows exchanges during this time frame as long as we receive your product within 14 days of the date of purchase. A store credit will be issued or a new costume must be selected if the item is no longer available. No Refunds will be given on any Halloween Costume orders received during this time period.

- All orders placed in the month of October for Halloween Costumes are FINAL SALES. PlayfulThreads.com does not accept any returns/exchanges for Halloween Costume orders if your purchase date is during the month of October.

- All Halloween Costume orders placed after October 31st follow our normal return/exchange policy.

Christmas Return/Exchange Policy:

PlayfulThreads.com understands that during this time of year, most purchases are given as gifts and will not be opened until Christmas day. Consequently, all items eligible for return/exchange based on the criteria stated in the above sections must be postmarked back to PlayfulThreads.com within 1 week after New Years Day. Also, all return/exchanges must have a Return Authorization Number issued. All return/exchange packages sent back to PlayfulThreads.com must have a Return Authorization Number clearly written on the outside of the package. PlayfulThreads.com has the right to refused any package that does not have a Return Authorization Number included.

Valentine’s Day Return/Exchange Policy:

PlayfulThreads.com understands that during this time of year, most purchases are given as gifts and will not be opened until Valentine’s Day. Consequently, all items eligible for return/exchange based on the criteria stated in the above sections must be postmarked back to PlayfulThreads.com within 1 week after Valentine’s Day. Also, all return/exchanges must have a Return Authorization Number issued. All return/exchange packages sent back to PlayfulThreads.com must have a Return Authorization Number clearly written on the outside of the package. PlayfulThreads.com has the right to refused any package that does not have a Return Authorization Number included.
